I have been showing dogs in American Kennel Club events like Conformation, Agility and Obedience for nearly 15 years. Dogs and their wellbeing are my passion in life!

GROOMING:

I started a grooming business out of my home after seeing the stressful, sometimes unsanitary, and expensive prices seen at many grooming parlors around town. My first priority is the dog, and not a profit. No muzzles, harmful chemicals or other potentially unsafe or stress inducing methods are used. I use organic, all natural, or "green" products when available.

People are even encouraged to stick around and watch, or even be taught themselves so that they would feel comfortable doing the grooming themselves in the future. For an additional fee of $20, I will even make house calls!

Prices are as follows:

Hair Cut / Shave:  $8*

Nail Trimming and tidying of the feet:  $5

Bath:  $7 (access to a hose, sink, or bath tub is necessary for house calls)

Ear & Eye cleaning (tear stain removal):  $5

Extensive Detangling / De-matting:  $7

The Works:  $25  (all of the above treatments)

House Call:  +$20

* I will only shave long coated, terriers, and curly coated breeds. I will not shave short haired, Spitz or double coated breeds (Such as Huskies, Akitas, Malamutes, Corgis, Chows, Pomeranians, etc) since it is not in the best interest of the dog.

TRAINING:

I decided to assist in the training of people's dogs for many reasons. Firstly, because I saw that so many dogs were being sold or given away because the owners were at a loss of what to do with an "ill-mannered" dog. Furthermore, if help was sought out to train the dog, too many trainers use a "one size fits all" approach to dog training. There isn't just one type of training that can help all dogs. Each dog has their own personality and breed specific deposition, and there are many training methods to accommodate such.

Again, dog wellbeing is my motive in dog training and not a profit. Training prices are negotiable with the owner; I will accept whatever people can afford.
